Dry Needling is a highly effective form of Physical Therapy and one of our most popular services. It treats a multitude of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. A very fine filament (acupuncture) needle is inserted through the skin and into the deeper tissues to relieve pain. The needles are inserted into around the area of pain, targeting trigger points and also sometimes into paravertebral points relating to the area of tenderness, along with well known homeostatic acupuncture points for optimum healing of the entire body.

Mostly these sessions begin with hands on massage before the dry needling, followed by deep stretching techniques at the end of the session where applicable to really maximimise results.
