Many studies have been conducted on acne acupuncture treatment and these have proven that it is safe and effective in treating acne. The Treatment

This is a full facial treatment and will include all the basics that you may receive in a normal facial, such as cleansing, exfoliation and the use of one or two masques. Every face and individual is different and we will perform the treatment according to a personalised analysis of your skin and a deeper understanding of your specific skin concerns that you want addressed.

We mostly use intradermal needles which are short, very fine guage needles that are much less invasive than a regular acupuncture needle. The majority of the needle insertions won’t be felt or won’t cause pain, but you can expect very brief discomfort in certain sensitive areas such as the mid brow or in the laughter lines. This normally exists only for a second or so. Skin sensitivity can vary depending on the individual. We also incorporate some basic body homeostatic acupuncture points to stimulate full body healing. Once the needles have been removed you will receive a relaxing facial massage while applying a healing masque, followed with moisturiser.
